In a special Three Stooges edition of Newsmakers TV, Nick Welsh and Josh Molina join the genial host on this week's edition of Newsmakers TV in presenting a proper post-mortem of Tuesday's election in Santa Barbara County.
With the sensibility, solemnity and snark of last call at Dargan's, los tres amigos offer up their nominees for best and worst performances of the local mid-terms,
with individual listicles of Winners and Losers who may or may not have been on the ballot (looking at you, Ethan Bertrand and Caroline Abate, District Elections and sbdems.org Central Committee).
They also offer some crystal-balling about which newcomers look to be rising stars (spoiler alert: Emily Zacarias and Charlotte Gullap Moore), as well some elected with slightly more seasoning likely to ascend the political ladder (shout-out Luz Reyes-Martin and Gabe Escobedo).
Plus: a special Newsmakers inquiry into how to spend $60,000 on a district city council campaign and capture (checks notes) 464 votes.
