The first of four Newsmakers TV special editions on Santa Barbara’s 2019 City Council races is now up on You Tube Channel.
Contenders Tavis Boise, Brian Campbell, Luis Esparza, Mike Jordan and Teri Jory offer and exchange their views on political values and policy prescriptions as the five compete to replace termed-out council member Randy Rowse in District 2.
We’ll also be up soon with our one-on-one interview with District appointed incumbent Meagan Harmon, who drew no opponent, as well as an upcoming sit down with Oscar Gutierrez, who is in the same happy position in the Westside’s District 3.
The final program in our special election coverage will be a conversation featuring Jason Dominguez, the incumbent in the Eastside’s District 1, and challenger Alejandra Gutierrez.
All the shows will be available online through the Nov. 5 election, and play regularly on TV Santa Barbara, Cox Cable Channel 17.
